The sunshine is back and LA the heart and pulse of Southern California is heralding summer with some truly LA Stylish events. If you looking to start taking in some of this phenomenal evening weather after an anomalous chilly LA winter then here are several of our calendar highlights. Don’t read any further if you don’t like to eat, drink and be merry! Through May 10

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is offering Big Pours promotion in the bar area through May 10, 2012. F Guests can select a hor deurves style plate (sliced filet mignon, seared ahi tuna, lobster tempura, etc.) paired with an oversized wine pour of divine wines. The selections range from Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley to Penley Estate Gryphon Merlot from Australia. This outstanding night out is budget friendly elegance at only $24.95, per person.

May 20

The Club Culinaire of French Cuisine will hold its annual Picnic des Chefs on Sunday, May 20, 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at Vasa Park in Agoura Hills, where four acres of lush mountainside. Top LA Chefs will cook up over 700 lb of meat, poultry and fish, 500 lb of vegetables, 200 lb of cheese and 500 baguettes, 50 artisan breads and much more.  Over 50 outstanding  Napa, Sonoma and international wineries will be pouring their favorite selections for discerning and not so discerning pallets.

You don’t want to miss this exceptionallyy kid-friendly that includes a moon bounce paradise, heated swimming pool with a giant waterslide, rock climbing wall, drawing competition, and games.  Adults can play pétaque, (win your weight wine), soccer, volleyball and badminton. Raffle prizes include two roundtrip tickets to Tahiti or Paris on Air Tahiti Nui, a weekend at The Ritz Carlton Laguna Nigel, Porsche knives, gourmet dinners, and shopping certificates. Musical entertainment will be provided by a French DJ.

Don’t think beer lovers are going to be left out as LA style leaders launch into spring frivolities. The Smog City Brewery and The Tripel are teaming up in celebration of celebrate American Craft Beer Week; these two amazing LA enterprises bringing us a night of big dynamic brews and fantastic flavorful food. The evening kicks off with a cocktail beer hour, followed by a special four-course tasting menu created by Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts. Each course will be paired with a limited edition Smog City beer, all on draft. This special evening on May 21 begins at 6:30 p.m., and seating is extremely limited! For those unable to make the ticketed event, The Tripel will offer the special menu à la carte along with the limited selection of Smog City beers from 9 p.m. to close. Tickets are $65 per person.
