Fall Fashion Tips & Tricks

It’s still technically summer as fall doesn’t officially begin until September 23rd. The official start of fall doesn’t mean that summer weather is over in all parts of the country. The continuing summer weather brings to mind the fashion question on the lips of all stylish females:

How do I dress for fall when it’s still summer weather????

Fall Time

Here are four tips and tricks to help you be prepared for any fall weather related fashion moment:

1. Double shirt style – Cover up that casual summer outfit with a long sleeve shirt. You can drape the shirt around your waist during the day and wear it at night as cool air begins to settle in for the evening.

2. Blaze a fashion trail with a blazer – A blazer works in a variety of style situations during the early days of fall weather. Wearing a fall blazer over shorts, as opposed to long pants, adds a stylish look to any outfit while keeping you from overheating during the day.  If you don’t want to go with the shorts look, pair your blazer with skinny jeans and a tank top. You’ll be fall fashionable while staying warm weather friendly.

3. Funky fashionable footwear – Being cool in the fall doesn’t always refer to the weather. Stacked kitten heels add that extra funky flirty factor to your fall wardrobe. Think of the stacked kitten heel as a distant family member to the more famous stiletto heel.

4. A skirt with a personality – While pencil skirts are always welcome and go with a variety of tops, they also lack a serious “wow factor”. The flounce hem works for both daytime work meetings and nighttime fun with friends.  Why settle for an ordinary pencil skirt when you can up the “wow factor” of your wardrobe?

No matter what part of the country you live in, fall fashion is just around the corner.  Don’t settle for a dull gray fall wardrobe. Make sure your personality and fashion sense shine at all times while showcasing your stylish fall fashion wardrobe.
